Hi, I'm Cecilia.

I’m a Swedish interior designer and bespoke lampshade maker who has been lucky enough to call the Algarve home since the early 2000s.

My path in design started early—driven by a lifelong obsession with colour, pattern, and texture that eventually led me to earn my Associate Diploma in Interior Design & Decoration with Distinction from Rhodec International. Over the years, I’ve worked across every corner of the property world here in Portugal, from high-end design and development in Quinta do Lago to running a property management company and building a specialist painting business with my husband, Phil.

All of that hands-on experience means I don't just know what looks good—I know how properties actually work. Whether you're remodelling a family home, preparing a property for resale, or setting up a high-yield holiday rental, I design with real life, durability, and practical comfort in mind.

Spaces 

A designer’s eye for structure and flow. I handle spatial planning, full interior remodels, and technical documentation for kitchens, bathrooms, and built-in features. From floor plans to tile layouts and lighting placement, I map out every detail so your contractor knows exactly what to do and your space flows effortlessly.

Styling

Creating homes with soul. Drawing on my property background, I curate furniture, colour schemes, and layouts tailored to how you live—or what your buyers and holiday guests want. A passionate advocate for character over mass production, I source unique pre-loved furniture from antique markets and salvage yards, expertly restoring them to bring authentic warmth and personality to your space.

Studio

A maker’s hand for bespoke detail. Here in the studio, I bring custom details to life. I specialise in hand-stitching bespoke lampshades, taking on specialist furniture painting, small tile accents, and light upholstery projects. It’s all about creating one-of-a-kind pieces you won't find anywhere else—and sharing that craft through creative workshops.
