Hi, I’m Cecilia.

I’m an interior designer, bespoke lampshade maker, and furniture restorer based in Albufeira.

My approach to design is grounded in a simple belief: a home shouldn't feel like a sterile showroom—it should feel warm, functional, and deeply personal.

After earning my Associate Diploma with Distinction from Rhodec International Design School, my path naturally dipped into a few complementary worlds. Over the years in Portugal, alongside interior design, I’ve founded and run a property management and holiday rental business, worked in real estate, operated a successful specialist painting company, and developed a deep passion for crafting bespoke lampshades.

I’m really glad for that mix. Working in real estate gave me an insider’s eye for home staging and what makes a property appealing, while managing rentals taught me exactly how to furnish a space so it looks beautiful yet holds up to real life. Combined with my studio craft—where I design custom lampshades, refinish kitchen cabinetry, restore pre-loved furniture, and host creative workshops across the Algarve—it means I see every space from both a designer’s eye and a maker’s hand.

How I Work

• Practical Experience: Having managed holiday rentals and staged properties, I design spaces that look stunning while being completely practical for everyday living or guest turnover.

• Warmth & Curation: I love blending Scandinavian simplicity with pre-loved market finds, tactile textiles, and warm lighting to give your home a genuine, lived-in feel.

• Hands-on Studio Craft & Lampshades: From hand-crafting custom lampshades from scratch and painting kitchens to restoring vintage pieces and teaching friendly workshops, the hands-on artisanal work is right at the heart of what I do.
